CDL Training Instructor/Examiner

We are looking for a passionate and experienced CDL DRIVER to join our team at Midwest CDL Training in Lincoln, NE!

As a CDL Training Instructor/Examiner, you will play a crucial role in preparing the next generation of truck drivers to obtain their CDL and excel in the transportation industry. You will be responsible for providing hands-on training, guidance, and support to our students as they learn the skills necessary to become successful CDL holders. Example, shifting, backing, drop and hook, etc.. There are always new things to learn from any new career, we will train you.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive CDL training courses to students, covering topics such as safety regulations, vehicle operation, logging hours, etc.
  • Evaluate student performance through driving practice and skills assessments
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to help students improve their driving skills and knowledge
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL with clean driving record
  • Prior experience as a truck driver or CDL instructor preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring others
  • Patience and adaptability since each of our trainings are individualized based on the student's needs.
